Kids and K-9s for Healthy Choices received a 2009 Davis Productivity Award from the State of Florida, for Best Practices.

The Ocala Chapter Team accepted the award from the State Surgeon General.

Kids and K-9s for Healthy Choices received special recognition as Best Poster for Childhood Obesity at the National Initiative for Children's Healthcare Quality 8th Annual Forum, "Thrive Together." The conference was held in March 2009 in Grapevine, TX.

Poster presentation given by Kathy Wright, Creative Director and Board Chair.
